Dr. İsmail Gürsoy
He was born in Erzurum in 1985. In 2007, he graduated from the Business Administration Department at Gazi University. He earned a Master's degree in Accounting from the same university in 2014 and a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance in 2019. From 2009 to 2016, he served in audit roles at the Turkish Court of Accounts with the titles of Assistant Auditor, Auditor, and Chief Auditor. He conducted financial audits and compliance audits for municipalities, special provincial administrations, and public companies affiliated with them. Since 2020, he has been providing project and consulting services on Cost Accounting Systems and Budget Systems to various companies.
Dr. Alpaslan FIRAT
He was born in Malatya in 1981. After completing his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, he graduated from Yıldız Technical University’s Department of Economics in 2005. In 2006, he began working as a State Revenue Specialist at the Ministry of Finance's Revenue Administration and transitioned to the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority as a specialist in 2012. He obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2016 and his Independent Auditor certification in 2017. In addition to his professional career, he has academic pursuits. He completed his master's degree in Accounting and International Financial Reporting at Bahçeşehir University in 2011 and began his Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance at Gazi University in 2016. Having successfully completed his doctoral studies and qualifying exams, he continues to work on his dissertation, titled "The Impact of Valuation of Tangible Assets on Firm Stock Value," and plans to graduate in 2023. He has experience in International Financial Reporting Standards, International Auditing Standards, Independent Auditing Practices, Turkish Commercial Code, and Turkish Tax Legislation. Until his resignation in 2019, he contributed to numerous legislative studies related to independent auditing and served as a lead auditor in the audits of prominent independent auditing firms in Turkey.
